Our GTrade21 Philippines Trade Commissioner, Eric Yam, was invited by The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), together with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), to be among its distinguished forum panel, and to share his expertise and knowledge recently on 28 October 2022.
This Forum was aimed towards the realization on the importance of the role of sustainability in export strategies, and the need of upgrading the value chain through sustainable trade and business that would enable a progressive environment to promote poverty alleviation, pursue economic growth improvement, boost job opportunities creation, and advance global inequality reduction. Through the Forum, the export-oriented enterprises, and other relevant companies could share their knowledge and learnings on how to strategically recalibrate business operations across the supply chain, especially amidst a crisis. The Forum also emphasized on how to be more competitive and be agile with the increasing demand of the global value chain.
